Gardener’s Glory honeys are produced with care for the bees. Our bees always eat their own reserves, as nature intended – never substitutes like corn syrup or sugar. What we love about urban beekeeping is that gardens give bees a naturally varied diet. They are also less likely to be exposed to agricultural pesticides. Our hives are not moved around, but stay in one place to avoid stress for the bees.

All our honeys are raw, meaning they are untreated, strained – not filtered – and free of any additives. We bottle the honey per garden, to keep the unique character of the honey. It is not unusual for two hives in the same suburb to produce different tasting honeys. That’s as local as it gets!
